The music video is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who also directed the movie, having produced it under his banner Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Late actor-producer Zarina Wahab makes a special appearance in the video. She had agreed to do so after she was assured that her daughter would be featured in the video along with Pee Cee and Priyanka Chopra.
